This vehicle is one of the true SUV’s that survived the great crossover craze. The 2016 Ford Everest is not going to be much different than the current model since in 2015 , this vehicle came with all the goodies any SUV enthusiast might want.

Ford decided to sell this comfort SUV in China, Australia, New Zeland and Southeast Asia, AND SOUTH AFRICA! The new model will come with numerous features that came with last year’s model which received great interior refinement and the best performance on road surfaces.

Exterior styling of this vehicle is one of its best assets. It looks very handsome, and rugged at the same time. Front fascia looks like a skidplate itself and with high ground clearance and fat tires this vehicle looks very stable and powerful. In the front we can notice the shiny big chrome grille with chrome accents on the side. Rear also comes with skidplate-looking design which gives this model a proper SUV look.

When it comes to off road capability the Ford Everest 2016 will come with the same 29 degree approach and 25 degree departure angles, same as the current model and it will also have more than nine inches of ground clearance, more than most of its competitors.

Interior description
Interior of 2016 Ford Everest is going to be more luxurious and elegant looking than ever before. It comes with three seating rows, with the ability to fold down two back rows and create more cargo room. When it comes to high tech, the new model will come with the Sync 2 infotainment system with an eight inch touch screen display.

This infotainment display is going to be placed on the dashboard, while the central console is going to come with Terrain Management Control, and numerous other control buttons from locking the differential to traction control. It will also come with two 12 volt power outlets for charging phones and iPods.

the new Ford Everest will come with three engine options and two transmission options, same as last year. The standard version will come with a 2.0 liter four cylinder engine made with EcoBoost technology, there’s also the 2,2 liter four cylinder Dura Torque engine that runs on diesel. The biggest engine is going to be the 3.2 liter Dura Torque five cylinder diesel.

The two transmission systems on offer will be the six speed automatic and six speed manual. The 2016 Everest will come with four wheel drive, same as the previous model, and since there is no official information about the new model’s performance, it might get a little power and fuel efficiency boost for the new year.

2016 Ford Everest is not going to be much more expensive than last year. American buyers will need to pay some extra cash for the shipment expenses and custom fees. The main competitors of this great SUV are the Toyota Rav4 and Nissan X-Trail. Release date is still a mystery. But, if the some rumors are true, price should be around the R300 000+ mark, with standard options and features.

This new model will probably debut on some of the motor shows in Asia or Australia during next year and it might arrive to Asian and South African showrooms in the beginning of 2016.
